Dreimeta Armin Fischer designed the ‘Kuoni travels, Flagshipstore Madrid’ in Madrid, Spain.
Description from the architects:
For the Madrid flagship store we developed a concept which was in line the large-scale shop window and the striking descending staircase.
Kuoni‘s design language has successfully been adapted in Madrid by individually combining artefacts which speak for travelling as well as having a Moorish-Spanish touch. The concierge desk in the entrance area was made of a stack of old overseas suitcases with a Kelim carpet ‘flying’ over it. The inspirational area actually has two functions: up to 31 persons can be seated there which is great for events such as lectures; the alignment of consulting tables enables more flexibility, the advisor and the customer either sit across a corner or together at one side of the table.
