Overview

Our work, is a private clubhouse for the residents at “Horizon Cove” in Zhu Hai, China..

The 10,000 sqm. 2-storey Clubhouse, comprise of a Health centre, Business Centre, Function room, Wine room, Reading area, Garden and a waiting area.

Our concept derived from the name “Horizon Heights”. The residential area is 4 pillars of 32 floor luxury apartment, “Horizon” refers to the panoramic view of the Tang Jia Bay, China. “Heights” refers to the high standard of living and pursuit of excellence.

Being a central point of the development, the clubhouse is designed to highlight the slogan, “Life at the Top”. The design is high-end, yet subtle in terms of the use of materials and colour. We designed a warmly inviting but quietly private place for young couples and professionals.

The 10,000 sqm.clubhouse consisted of ground floor and basement.

Situated in the middle of the development, the clubhouse is surrounded by an artificial beach and lake. Our concept is to create a space for private gatherings and a place for true relaxation.

“Life at the Top” is where the inspiration begins; true luxury is one of a kind and cannot be duplicated. Instead of using expensive materials to construct a “luxury” space. Our efforts are used in combining different basic elements such as lighting , with basic materials like stainless steel, glass etc. to create unique ambience for residents to enjoy their living environment.

The design is Timeless and Modern at the same time. The materials chosen are of high quality and durability. The main materials include glass, stainless steel and marble. This is because we believe that a designer’s job is to inject spirits and transform ordinary materials into an art piece that tells a story.

Our admiration to the nature is shown through the frequent use of raw or unfinished materials, such as the marble column at the corridor. Playing with the contrast between fine and raw finish is also one of our strengths.

Luxury is exquisitely presented without any over-the-top colour or decoration.

The whole design is consistent yet full of small surprises.

To convey a tranquil environment, the corridor is specially designed like a gallery; residents can enjoy their time and appreciate the art pieces placed along the corridor.

The staircase-like feature ceiling creates a sense of slow movement along the corridor; provide a soothing effect to viewers.

At the waiting areas, we use different kinds of lights, e.g. Pendant lights, floor lamps, table lamp, to create layers of lighting effect, create a calming environment.

The floor to ceiling glass allows residents to take in the garden view outside and bring in natural daylights.

The reception area is more bright and welcoming. A large space is allocated for the reception desk, which features a mirror ceiling and an irregular pendant light. The round-shaped reception desk corresponds with the spiral staircase, which is grand and appealing.
