Maxthreads Architectural Design and Planning designed the University of Taipei fine art female student in Taiwan.
Description from the architects:
Our concept for a new female student residence hall translates the privacy and protection of the site as primary façade form generator, and connects the two buildings into a larger L shape gesture. the façade treatment is panelised with long shallow window opening, it maximise the natural day light penetration but also allows privacy of the interior rooms. The modulation of the construction and arrangement is designed for cost effective and easy installation. The landscape is designed to extend the existing green area near by, the grid pattern is allocated for residence to exhibit their art work.
